Core Integrity Pilates is a boutique fitness studio and holistic wellness center located in Revolution Mill.
We are dedicated to creating a safe, welcoming, healing space for all people.
Pilates is "intelligence in motion"...
A consistent, quality Pilates practice quite simply makes you better at LIFE.
Our mission at CIP is to inspire, empower and educate our clients while promoting a balanced lifestyle through the healing power of movement and preventative healthcare. We believe the connection between body and mind is at the heart of the Pilates system and it is our passion to guide you into discovering your natural strength and flexibility.
Focusing on the fundamental principles of the classical Pilates method, in conjunction with our experienced and specialized instructors, provides a unique exercise program with the ability to meet your individual needs regardless of fitness level, experience, injuries, age, gender or body type.
Our goal is to bring the healing power of movement to all people and to share tools to feel, look and function at your very best, from the inside- out. To do that, alongside Pilates, we offer a variety of complementary wellness services including aromatherapy, kinesiotaping, massage/reflexology and Raindrop Technique.

Covid + Personal Safety
Your health and safety is our #1 priority!
Rest assured we always strive for a diligent studio and equipment cleaning protocol.
The studio floors and high-touch areas are cleaned DAILY plus every client cleans up after their session with studio-supplied anti-bacterial, toxic-free cleaning solutions. You can feel confident that
you are walking into a sanitized environment and laying on clean equipment. The air is also purified with the highest-quality essential oils diffusing (inspirational boost as a bonus!).
> Please have your hair tied-back before you come to the studio ... you'd be amazing how easily it sheds and gets tied up in the equipment damaging springs; plus kinda gross for others!
> Please be considerate and save the body lotions, perfumes, colognes for outside the studio. Not only do lotions damage the equipment, but we have other clients allergic/sensitive to a variety of aromas.
> In a effort to always keep the studio and equipment as sanitary as possible, PLEASE wear your street shoes to the bathroom -- no socks or barefeet in public areas!
>Sorry, not sorry, but no entry after 10 minutes! It is disruptive to other clients, the studio flow and most importantly, is not safe for YOU!
Our equipment-based sessions are set as a semi-private appointment with up to 5 people at a time
while maintaining plenty of social distance. Each weekend Amanda sends a list of available times via text
to our list of VIP clients with all "holes" available; spots are then filled on a first come/first serve basis.
✦ CURRENT FACE MASK PROTOCOL (as of 8/31/23):
FACE MASKS ARE NOT REQUIRED at CIP
We ask that you please continue to follow the studio guidelines below as well as those outlined above.
✦ Please mask at your discretion.
✦ Please do NOT come to your appointment if you or anyone you have had
contact with has any COVID symptoms or a fever.
✦ Arrive no more than 5 minutes before your scheduled appointment.
✦ Bring as little as possible into the studio and
leave your personal belongings in the client waiting area (aka "nook").
✦ The front studio workout space and hallways should be clear of all personal
belongings for safety reasons.
✦ Hand sanitizer is available for your convenience.
✦ Please allow those clients who are completing their session space to clear out
before coming onto the studio floor.
✦ For your added protection socks with grippers on the bottom
are strongly encouraged for all in-studio sessions.

Meet Our Team
Amanda K. Smith
Guiding her beloved clients to find their true "core integrity" is her passion and purpose.
Amanda is a master Pilates instructor with over 20 years of experience teaching movement. She founded Core Integrity Pilates in 2005 after receiving her Comprehensive Pilates Certification through Power Pilates NYC, among many others. She holds a BFA in Dance from UNCG and has been performing professionally and teaching all over North Carolina since 2002.
Amanda is proud mother to Everly Louise and Smith Sullivan; and partner to the love of her life, Lucas. Together they live in Greensboro along with numerous fur babies. You can bet wherever she is, there is a diffuser wafting essential oils, a couple of crystals in the pocket of some wild pair of leggings, a plant-based snack nearby ... and a tall glass of celery juice (OK, sometimes it's a strong cup of coffee) in hand! She loves animals, laughter, old school hip-hop, playing outdoors, eating avocados, weaving dreamcatchers and creating other eclectic art as well as being on the water.
Amanda is constantly seeking opportunities to co-create and share her healing gifts with others and looks forward to working with you.
Hope has been in love with movement since the age of 4 when she first began dancing. She received her B.A. in Dance Studies from Appalachian State University and has continued to dance periodically since attaining her degree. This led her to discover Pilates under the tutelage of Marianne Adams and Rebecca Quin during her time at Appalachian State. It was there that she pursued her Pilates certification, becoming a 3rd generation classical instructor in a lineage descending from Romana Kryzanowska. She is comprehensively trained in both mat and apparatus.
Hope’s passion for movement and her continued desire to learn led her to the GYROTONIC®️ Expansion System. She is now a certified GYROTONIC®️ Level 1 Pre-Trainer, GYROTONIC®️Level 2 instructor, and GYROKINESIS®️Level 1 Pre-Trainer. She is also certified on the Jump Stretch Board, Archway and Gyrotoner. In addition she has studied GYROTONIC®️ applications for Osteoporosis, Scoliosis, the shoulder girdle, pelvic girdle, scoliosis and the psoas.
Hope is thrilled to bring her enthusiasm for this method to Core Integrity Pilates and to Greensboro and help others on their path to healing and happier moving!
Multi-talented Dayana joins us while juggling being a student at UNCG -- majoring in Nutrition, a perfect compliment to our quest for well-being. She is flying through her early stages as a classically trained Pilates instructor and has a solid fan-base here at CIP. We're pretty confident you'll enjoy her spirit as she guides you through the movement your body craves!
In her free time Dayana can be found "nerding out about nutrition" or training with her mischievous dog, Jäger!
Annie Young is a performing dance artist and 3rd Generation Classical Pilates instructor local to Greensboro, North Carolina. Annie is a graduate of Appalachian State University where she received her BA in Dance Studies with minor studies in somatic sustainability and psychology. She has danced professionally with JOYEMOVEMENT for 3 seasons performing in original works such as ‘A Wicked Silence’ and ‘Love Notes’ and performed in the 2021 North Carolina Dance Festival with the Van Dyke Dance Group and was recently invited for a 2023 residency with the Theatre and Dance Department at Appalachian State University. She received her Pilates certification becoming a 3rd Generation Classical Pilates instructor and is classically and comprehensively trained in the Pilates method receiving 600+ hours in teacher training through the Pilates program at Appalachian State University.
Annie is now returning to the Greensboro area with a wealth of knowledge that she is eager to share with the surrounding communities in North Carolina and we couldn't be happier that she is joining the Core Integrity family as of September 2023!
Raindrop Technique / Vitaflex Specialist
Certified Aromatherapy Coach
Some of you may remember Lisa as our Studio Manager at the front desk "pre-pandemic" -- well, she's still here behind the scenes!
Along with the skills Lisa brings to the studio from a career background in marketing/project management and client services, Lisa also has now brought the beautiful healing modality of Raindrop Technique to CIP as part of our Wellness Collective.
Raindrop Technique integrates a light feathering and the uniquely energetic Vitaflex technique ("vitality through the reflexes") with the power of essential oils to bring the body into balance at a cellular level - both physically and emotionally (much like Pilates!).
Lisa is Certified under CARE - the Center for Aromatherapy Research and Education - and is excited to support you on your healing journey to rejuvenate the mind and balance the body. Last year she completed her Aromatherapy certification as well as advanced Raindrop studies in Vibrational Raindrop (tuning forks), Chromatic Raindrop (color light therapy) and other techniques to further enhance "classic" Raindrop and your experience.
When not busy helping others Lisa can be found relaxing at home on her "porchio" (screened porch) with her dog, Ziggy, and husband, Kevin.
Carrie Plew is a Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist bringing over 22 years of experience to the table. She received certification in Massage Therapy from both Guilford Technical Community College (High Point, NC) and the Swedish Institute (New York, NY).
Massage therapy has been a perfect complement to Carrie’s work as a professional dancer, teacher and choreographer (BFA UNC-Greensboro in Dance Performance and Choreography). She started her massage career as the in-house massage therapist for Stewart Physical Therapy in Burlington, NC. There she gained experience in and appreciation for truly therapeutic massage for medically rehabilitative purposes. Carrie is certified in Prenatal and Postpartum Massage and has completed training as a doula. She is proud to have completed her studies at the Laban/Bartenieff Institute for Movement Studies and is now a Certified Movement Analyst. Her knowledge of Laban Movement Analysis and Bartenieff Fundamentals gives her even more tools to guide clients towards increased movement potential and efficiency. She takes an anatomically specific approach to care for clients, using a firm and focused pressure to bring relaxation to overworked muscles.
Carrie is passionate about educating her clients in self care techniques such as gentle exercises and stretches so that the relaxation achieved during a massage session can be more integrated into a client’s daily routine.
Nothing is impossible, the word itself says "I'm possible."
